Anti-aging Cosmetic Surgery: Patient Reflection Eye Nipntuck, Facelift

May 16th, 2012

Yvette writes about her experience (and being a youthful Mother of the Groom):

Just like some of the other guest bloggers, a large part of my initial decision to go with Dr.Bashioum was having the option to use IV sedation available to me instead of general anesthesia. In addition to this, a few of Dr. Bashioum’s staff members were also previous patients of his also had the same surgery I was considering–blepharoplasty  or eyelid surgery. It says a lot about a doctor when the staff consists of satisfied patients. Dr. Bashioum also had the “decades” of experience that I was looking for in a surgeon.

The whole experience from consultation to final result was really great. I was treated respectfully, professionally, and compassionately at every step in the process and by every staff member I encountered. I was surprised and pleased by all the complimentary after care as well–I was even given Dr. Bashioum’s home phone number! The experience was so good that I got braver and returned the following year (2011) for a facelift. Once again the whole plastic surgery experience was fantastic.

My son got married this year and all of the out-of-state family members that I hadn’t seen in years, kept saying how I looked the same age as my cousins who are several years younger than I am. I am very happy I did this for myself, and very pleased with the Bashioum Cosmetic Surgery Center.

Friday Photo: Butterball 2011 Fundraiser

December 9th, 2011

I took this photo at the bi-annual Butterball Party  that was chaired by our friend, Minnesota adventurer, explorer and author Dan Buettner.  Rudy and Ana were our hosts for the fun evening and they served on Dan’s committee for the gala.

This year the fundraiser is slated to surpass the $100,000 raised in 2009.  All the proceeds from The Butterball Party 2011 support the wonderful work of Open Arms. Open Arms is the only nonprofit organization in Minnesota that cooks and delivers free, delicious and nutritious meals to individuals living with serious and life-threatening illness, as well as their caregivers and dependent children.
