Mel’s Blog: My quest for a flat tummy
July 28th, 2010
Hi my name is Melissa and this is my story. I knew that I wanted to have some kind of plastic surgery following the birth of my first child. I had always had a little bit of extra fat in my lower abdomen and then having two children accentuated the problem. After I had my last baby, I waited 6 months and decided to consult with Dr. Bashioum based on a referral from a friend.
My consultation with Dr. Bashioum was exactly what I needed. He was able to validate something that I has suspected, that no amount of exercise was going to get rid of the extra skin on my stomach. I had done my part by losing all of the baby weight (plus a little more) and now I needed his help to fix the rest of the problem.
Check back tomorrow to follow my quest for a flat tummy.
Reader Question: How much does a Breast Lift Cost?
July 21st, 2010
The cost of mastopexy surgery, commonly referred to as a breast lift, can vary considerably and is based on what your goals are. Repositioning sagging nipples or having breast lift alone costs between $6000 and $8000. If you also desire fuller breasts, adding a breast enlargement procedure to a lift increases the total range $8000 to $12,000. Interesting, reducing breast size costs less. Breast reduction usually costs between $9000 and $11,000. Patients report high satisfaction with their results after having this type of surgery.
I welcome your questions about cosmetic plastic surgery.
