EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – While the tanning industry is facing new restrictions, “Tan-a-holics†will soon be paying a new tax.
It’s part of a provision in the health care reform law. Starting July 1, there will be a 10 percent tax on all indoor tanning sessions. The new tax only applies to UV services. The popular spray tans are not included. Dr. Ralph Bashioum, a cosmetic surgeon with Bashioum Cosmetic Surgery Center talks about the health risks.
Lisa’s Blog: Debut of my new nose
March 17th, 2010
Day 14 after my Rhinoplasty surgery.
I am so happy with my new nose! Much of the swelling has gone down now, so the results are more visible. I was so nervous about the splint removal. Like I mentioned to Dr. Bashioum at my appointment, I was more nervous about that than the actual surgery. These feelings surprised me, maybe because I was worried that I might not look like myself and not like my nose. But- I was wrong, I love it!
