Turning the Clock Back on Aging
March 6th, 2012
According to Medical News Today, plastic surgery makes people look younger than their actual age. Since that is a major goal of many of my patients, I’m glad to know that we are doing our job! Researchers from the University of Toronto and North Shore University Health System have reported their findings in Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery.
Results confirm that patients having rejuvenation surgery can expect to turn the clock back and shave about 9 years off their appearance. The likelihood of this premise needing to be studied seems like a waste of research funding to me.
