Nose Surgery Series: Jessie writes, I did watch my surgery videos and I was not as freaked out as I thought I would be. I noticed that Dr. Bashioum used care when the surgery was performed; no one took a big hammer to me and beat on my nose. I think so many reality shows make the procedure much more dramatic than it really is. I also think I had an easy time watching the film clips because the staff was so nice to me prior to surgery. I truly know they did value me as the patient and attended to my individual needs.
Please check back tomorrow to see my splint come off and watch the video as my new nose is uncovered for the first time.

Exciting clinic news: Sandra Hanson’s daughter is in the Conference USA title game for college women’s softball today in Miami. Proud parents Sandra and Gary are at the game, cheering on Kayti at 2nd base and her teammates from WKU. After hard-fought victories in the semifinals, WKU and Florida Atlantic meet on championship Saturday on the CBS Sports Network, battling for the 2015 Conference USA Softball Championship crown and the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. We wish “Lady Toppers” good luck!
