LAFD Fills The Boot for MDA

Local Los Angeles Firefighters joined Muscular Dystrophy Association volunteers at locations across Los Angeles last week to gather donations for MDA.
Volunteer work can be fun! Daughter Ashley helped Captain Garcia, along with his team of firefighters from Battalion 2/Station 44 collect donations in Eagle Rock.
Last year, the Los Angeles Fire Department raised $178,855 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
MN Arboretum Bud Break 5K Benefit Run

U of M Landscape Arboretum Bud Break 5K Run/Walk and Youth Daffodil Dash Run/Walk
 is May 6th and start time is 9 a.m.
The 5K run/walk is a certified asphalt course that winds through scenic spring Arboretum landscapes, including challenging hills and prairies. Kids ages 5-12 can join in the 1-mile Youth Daffodil Dash Run/Walk. Fee includes general Arboretum admission and specially designed t-shirt.
All proceeds benefit the Arboretum.
