The recent rain showers, followed by some warm sunshine made way for young rhubarb to sprout up. Can a freshly-baked rhubarb pie be too far away?
Making MN Maple Syrup

Our neighbor across the street makes his own “Sugar Bush” by tapping his Maple trees to make wonderful maple syrup. Our warm sunny Spring days and cool evenings are a perfect combination for the running sap to be collected for maple syrup. I hope we are still on the list to receive this lovely handcrafted gift. The tapped trees signal that the arrival of summer can’t be too far down the road.
One can only hope!
