Here are Lindsay and I on the 4th of July, on what might well be the busiest and hottest day of the year on Lake Minnetonka! Our friends, Brad and Cheryl Jones were kind enough to share their special summer boat ride with us.

I think that I am entering my homemade bread phase, because while I’m waiting to start gardening in earnest, I have been experimenting with bread making. This photo is one of my successful loaves, after a couple tries. Even when they don’t turn out perfect, the house smells terrific and usually edible in some fashion!
